Leitherer et al. 1996, PASP, 108, 996 1) Downloaded 8mm Exabyte tape containing the Database onto disk on the AAS computer. The Database consists of >2000 files comprising >268 MB of compressed data. The file names are very long, case sensitive, and contain a lot of information to identify the file. Rather than attempt to rename files to conform with ISO 9660 DOS-style naming conventions, all of the data files were placed inside a single UNIX tar file. 2) Wrote a simple Perl 4 script to extract specific files from the tar file. 3) Incorporated author-supplied documentation into TABLE.DOC. 4) Generated TABLE.DOC, standard table description, and ABSTRACT.DOC, title and abstract from the paper.
