II (Twarog+ 1995) ================================================================================ Ca II H and K Filter Photometry on the uvby System. II. The Catalog of Observations Bruce A. Twarog and Barbara J. Anthony-Twarog <1995, AJ, 109, 2828> =1995AJ....109.2828T ================================================================================ Abstract: A catalog of photometry of 1990 stars on the Caby system is presented. The sample includes stars covering an extensive range in spectral type, luminosity class and metallicity, as well as apparent magnitude. The hk indices are on the standard system defined on Anthony-Twarog et al. (1991, AJ, 101, 1902), while the V and (b-y) indices have been transformed to the system of Olsen (1993, A&AS, 102, 89; hereafter referred to as O93), superseding the values in the original catalog of standard stars. Extensive comparisons to three earlier uvby catalogs with a large degree of overlap are made and the residual trends discussed. The qualitative sensitivity of the hk index as a function of temperature is illustrated for the primary spectral ranges. (1971, 1978) compilations, LTT for Luyten (1957, 1961) catalogs, C for Beers et al. (1992, AJ, 103, 1987), W for Wilson (1953, Gen. Cat. of Stellar Rad. Vel.), YC for reference cited, and VB for van Bueren (1952). e_V, e_b-y, e_hk: For stars with only one observation, the standard deviations have been set to zero; for stars with two observations, the standard deviations are equal to one-half the difference between the measurements. LC: Classification of the star for calibration purposes: D for dwarfs redder than (b-y)=0.41, G and C for giants and carbon stars, respectively, cooler than (b-y)=0.41. Stars hotter than (b-y)=0.41 have no classification listed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================================================ (End) Lee Brotzman [ADS] 26-Oct-1995
