1) Downloaded compressed tar file with table data and spectra, extracted data
   into working directory.

2) Stripped descriptive text from header of table data, incorporated description
   into TABLE.DOC.

3) Wrote simple Perl script to strip headers from spectra and write them in a
   regular format without extraneous blanks between columns.

4) Generated TABLE.DOC, standard table description, and ABSTRACT.DOC, title and 
   abstract from the paper.
