Bowyer, R. Lieu, M. Lampton, J. Lewis, X. Wu, J. J. Drake, & R. F. Malina <1994, ApJS, 93, 569> =1994ApJS...93..569B ================================================================================ Abstract: The Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer (EUVE) has conducted an all-sky survey to locate and identify point sources of emission in four extreme ultraviolet wavelength bands centered at approximately 100, 200, 400, and 600 A. A companion deep survey of a strip along half the ecliptic plane was simultaneously conducted. In this catalog we report the sources found in these surveys using rigorously defined criteria uniformly applied to the data set. These are the first surveys to be made in the three longer wavelength bands, and a substantial number of sources were detected in these bands. We present a number of statistical diagnostics of the surveys, including their source counts, their sensitivities, and their positional error distributions. We provide a separate list of those sources reported in the EUVE Bright Source List which did not meet our criteria for inclusion in our primary list. We also provide improved count rate and position estimates for a majority of these sources based on the improved methodology used in this paper. In total, this catalog lists a total of 410 point sources, for which 372 have plausible optical, ultraviolet, or X-ray identifications, which are also listed. Keywords: catalogs -- ultraviolet: stars Description: An entry appears in Table 1 if a detection is made in any of the four all-sky survey wavelength bands. The fitting procedure provides a best fit count rate and a one sigma statistical uncertainty. The ID quality symbol U is shown if an appreciable portion of the 100 A counts listed may be due to the known UV leak of the Lexan/boron filter. 287 sources are listed. The deep-sky survey list is given as Table 2. A # sign indicates that the source also appears in Table 1. The columns shown are as for Table 1, except that there are two wavelength bands denoted 100 A and 200 A. An entry appears in this table if a detection is made in either of the two deep sky survey wavelength bands. 35 sources are listed. For completeness, Table 7 lists objects from the Bright Source List (Malina et al. 1993) that did not meet our rigorously defined criteria for inclusion in Tables 1 or 2.
