1) Separated mail header, table description, and table data.  Examined table
   data for errors.

2) Converted TeX to ASCII with following commands:

      $ dvi2tty -w120 -otable1.dat table1
      $ dvi2tty -w132 -otable2.dat table2
      $ dvi2tty -onotes2.dat notes2

3) Deleted extraneous blank columns and blank rows from file TABLE1.DAT.
   Following formatting changes made:
      o Made NGC/IC field uniform: N or I followed by 4 digit integer
      o For 22 records, added leading zeroes to seconds of RA
      o Deleted 'x' character between major and minor axes fields

4) Generated TABLE1.DOC and TABLE2.DOC, standardizing table descriptions.

5) Generated ABSTRACT.DOC, title and abstract from the paper.
